1. We are committed to the privacy of our clients and we will not pass on information or work submitted to Higher Editing to other parties. Though, in the eventuality that information is leaked against our intentions we shall not be held liable.
2. Through the editing and proofreading services we are prepared to make small changes to mistakes and confusions where we pick up on them and to point out areas that may need further reworking. We are not prepared to add additional content or to substantially rewrite any sections of the paper.
3. In case of any complaint, please contact us. If we agree that a major oversight has been made by one of our editors we will negotiate a refund.
4. If it is against your university, department, or course regulations to use a professional correcting service please do not do so. It is the commissioner's responsibility to ensure this; Higher Editing accepts no responsibility for wrongful use of its services.
5. Higher Editing cannot guarantee the academic achievement of its clients. We accept no liability for essays or marks with which the author is not entirely satisfied.
6. Higher Editing cannot guarantee 100% accuracy and noticing of errors in all instances. Like any editing process, the service provided by Higher Editing is subject to the possibility of human error and omission.
7. We ask our clients to remain observant and not to submit any essay that they are not entirely and independently happy with. Any decision to incorporate our proofreading/editing suggestions into a final submission is at the client's discretion.
8. We ask clients to ensure that they keep a copy of their original document in order to check through, and independently agree any revisions made to the edited/proofread version before submission. Higher Editing asks that the client play an active role in guaranteeing the consistency of their final drafts and matching the writing in question to their specific university/college/school or course style-guide.
9. If, under any circumstances, Higher Editing is not able to complete a commission within the arranged timeframe, we will be happy to arrange a full refund. We ask customers not to rely on our services for the completion of written tasks. If a client is unable to submit their work on time, or is unhappy with the end product, for any reason, Higher Editing will not be held liable.
10. Higher Editing does not condone plagiarism or knowingly work with plagarised content. Writing submitted for editing or proofreading should be entirely of the client's own authorship.
11. Higher Editing reserves the right to refuse commissions.
