Full Edit Service

The Full Edit Package provides the same services as the Proofread Package and additionally entails a more detailed review of your writing, offering suggestions on conformity to style conventions, formatting, referencing and bibliography.

In addition to the services offered by the Basic Proofread Package, Higher Editing will:

• Offer advice on formatting and referencing.

• Correct formatting and referencing mistakes where possible and appropriate.

• Provide suggestions for increasing clarity and effectiveness of expression.

• Examine style and formatting throughout your main text.

• Check proper formatting of quotations.

• Examine style and formatting of references.

• Examine style and formatting of your Bibliography.

• Crosscheck Table of Contents with main document where appropriate.

What will you get?

When we return the edited article the client will receive:

• One copy of the draft:

The edited draft will highlight areas where editor corrections have been made, highlight omissions, provide explanations to changes where necessary, and provide editor comments and suggestions. This will allow you to identify corrections made, and work further on any suggestions for improvement made by the editor. We recommend that clients re-read through this version of the document in order to check and agree corrections and to consider further comments/suggestions before submission. This is especially important where any accidental omissions have been made such as forgetting to reference a quotation. Working through the proof/edit draft will allow you to get the most out of our service.

• One copy of a clean edited draft:

This copy will contain the full edit draft with highlighting and editor comments removed.

• One copy of the original document submission:

Crosschecking with the original document will help you track corrections. Higher Editing asks all clients to keep a copy of their original document at all times.
